Fun day

Today we had a fun filled day. First we went down to a friend's house and gave them a present for their upcoming baby. Then we went to see the 2nd Chipmunks movie. Temperance didn't do so well, but Victoria had a blast and that is what I was aiming for. Here are some random pics of us. I included two of me b/c Victoria is in them.

We were busy girls today. Temperance peed on the potty (YAY for her) and Victoria lost her 2nd top front tooth. She is talking slightly hilariously now so please call her and talk to her because it will make your day!!!

Silly Girls

The TV has infomercials about these things for your hair called bump-its.... Victoria has been bugging me to get her some since she first saw the commercials. I finally bought them yesterday because she asked if we could buy them to wear for Larry's homecoming. It tugged at my heart so we bought them. Here are some photos of us playing around with our new bump its. :)

The following is a picture of how grose and loose Victoria's tooth is. She is really holding onto it... but I have a feeling it will be out this week. :)

We have been doing pretty good. We are almost down to our 1-month countdown. It would help if we had an exact return date, but that's okay. Victoria is getting very excited for her Daddy to come home. We started playing kick ball in the yard pretty much every day after we get home. Both of the girls really enjoy it. Victoria enjoys it so much that we are going to enroll her in soccer when the season starts (June).

Running

I run on my treadmill after the girls go to bed. Now this is actually something I enjoy, however my running shoes were causing massive blistering & pain in my feet after anything over about a mile. So this is my face when I found new running shoes today..... YAY....

And this is my new pair of running shoes!!!! YAY!

They are pretty sweet looking, but the real test will be the run.

Temperance has a tooth coming in and that is why she is always chewing on a finger.

Victoria is really turning into a beautiful little lady.

Temperance is really, really, really into shrugging her shoulders right now. Which is hilarious for anyone who knew me when I was about 9 because I loved to do the shoulder shrug when I was younger.

January

Wow - January is alreay over half gone and I am imagining the rest of the month will fly just as quickly! Here are some random shots of the girls and myself. Currently Victoria is learning to ride her bike & tie her shoes. She has also learned to ice skate (yes, here in Hawaii) and she can rollerblade! Temperance is a little ball of fun who loves to push the envelope and is scared of NOTHING. :) I really want to get her a T-ball set because she loves to throw balls and I think she would really like it. New Year's Goals

I do not set "resolutions" but I do set new goals every January. This year my personal goals are:

*Reach goal weight (15 pounds from now)

*Read 20 books this year cover-to-cover

*Run 330 miles

We are now 10 days into the new year and I have almost finished a book and I have run 5.2 miles. We moved to Hawaii last January. Since we moved here I have lost 40 pounds.... um WOW. That's a HUGE number. Here's a photo of me from last January right after we moved here. I had just given T a bath in the motel bathtub.

And here's a photo of me from this January (just the other morning actually). I don't know about you, but I am much happier with this January. LOL.

Larry will be heading our way in a short 7.5 weeks (always give-or-take a little) and we couldn't be happier. The counting down has officially begun!!! Look for more posts about Larry and his arrival to come soon!!!!

Diamond Head Hike w/ Clinton

We did a hike up Diamond Head with Clinton! Here are some of our favorite pics from the hike. He was awesome & carried Temperance the whole way. Both girls did great and had a lot of fun on the hike!
