Larry's Home!

Our wonderful Daddy has been home for a week now.  It has been a awesome week having him back home with us. Both of the girls have missed him so very much and have enjoyed seeing him and spending time with him daily. The homecoming has been seriously great.

I made the Pegasus sign and hung it on the side of the house.  The other sign I bought and hung on our fence.  This is the first time we have really hung up big sings outside the house.

Victoria wore her homecoming outfit and Temperance was supposed to have one on of the same type only purple dress with a green tutu but Temperance refused to put hers on... of course.

Yay, here he is! Our Daddy is home! Our Daddy is home! Our Daddy is home!!!

We are truly a blessed family to have Larry returned to us safe and sound. All prayers that were sent his way are very appreciated. I know that not all families were as lucky and I am grateful to have him home with us.

Homecoming Busy

I am insanely busy getting ready for Larry's homecoming. And of course I keep adding things to do to the list. Sigh. So far I still need to finish my banners/signs, hang said banners/signs, clean up the kid's room, change the sheets on the bed, clean out the truck and wash it, and finish the big homecoming project I am working on. Sorry I can't divulge more info about the project because every now and then Larry actually reads the Blog about his life.

The girls do not know the exact date he is coming home. I am not even going to tell them until we are there at the hanger waiting. Victoria knows that we have a function at his hanger but since we actually do squadron functions there it is not throwing any red flags. She is even aware that she will wear her homecoming outfit to show the other spouses. They are going to be so insanely excited. :)

And on top of everything else I am doing I am still training for a marathon. Needless to say, I am a busy woman. But at least there is finally a light at the end of the tunnel!

Friends & Family

My good friend Evita has been visiting us and it has really helped pass the last few weeks before Larry arrives home. I am super excited that the offical count down has started! I can't wait to have my best friend back at home with me.  There is seriously no one I would rather spend time with over Larry. It will be great to have him back home and safe.

However, having said all that about Larry, it has been FREAKING FANTASTIC to have Evita with us! We have known Evita almost as long as we have known each other. Evita was at our wedding (be jealous - cause there are only three others who have that claim to fame) and she signed our marriage certificate as a witness. No matter what is going on in the world or in our lives, Evita and I are always able to reconnect right where we left off. She is one of my best girl friends and I love every zany awesome piece that makes her a whole. Here are some photos of us at the Bellows beach!

The girls (especially Victoria) have really enjoyed having Evita spend time with us.

 Seriously, Victoria loves her. :)

I love her too - even if she makes me look insanely pale.

 Temperance playing in the sand.

And yes, we played visitors and had the actual Japanese visitors take our photo. HAH. It was funny. The girls and I love Bellows beach, if you get the chance to visit Hawaii, we would love to take you there!
