Oh Christmas!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!

The pictures below are from Christmas Eve.

I let the girls open one present each Christmas Eve (a new pair of jammies for both of them).

YAY - they were all excited about their new jammies!!!

Christmas morning started with the girls getting up around 0700 and heading down stairs. We did our stockings first and then the presents from Santa. Then they dug into the rest of them and the house quickly became a trash & present pile! LOL. They had a LOT of fun opening presents.

Right around the time we were done with presents and I was starting my pumpkin cheesecake, we had a visitor!!!!!

Just when I was afraid we would have to spend Christmas alone this year, I found our a really great friend of ours (Clinton) would be on island over the Holidays! I was sooo excited. We invited him over for Christmas dinner and the girls had a wonderful time with him. They were both fighting for his attention all night. I am pretty sure they wore him out! LOL. We were truly blessed to have Clinton spend Christmas day with us this year!

While it was really sad to not have Larry home with us, he was in our thoughts and our prayers all day long. We miss our Daddy and we can't wait for him to come back home to us!!!! Be thankful for your family & show them appreciation every day!

Flip Flops & Santa Claus

We attended Santa's Village on Saturday. It was blazing warm and we were all wearing flip-flops. Victoria's friend Katie went with us to enjoy the festivities. The girls all had a lot of fun getting to have custom (and really nice) ornaments made with their names on them, shaved ice, and of course photos with Santa!

The base has an old fire engine that is hauled out for the kiddies and we had the chance to take a ride. It was a lot of fun. Temperance loved ringing the little bell they gave her.

This is Victoria on Santa's lap. I would love to have one of Temperance if she didn't freak out and scream and try to climb up to my head (literally) to get away from him. Maybe next year?

And this last one is of Victoria & me. She is a wonderful joy to have around and Temperance just adores her. Temperance now calles her "Yaria". It's great.
Happy Holidays to all!!!!

Christmas is near

This Chirstmas will be just the girls and me. We have our tree up and we have presents arriving from mainland so it is beginning to look a little more festive around the house. We have a wreath hanging on the door and it has been in the upper 60's in the morning lately. However a big, huge part of our Christmas will be away from us this year. Larry will still be in Afghanistan for Christmas and no, he doesn't get to come home for the holiday. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers this Christmas season and feel blessed if you are lucky enough to have your loved ones at your side. Treasure your family & have a wonderful Christmas!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
