Alone Time

Well Larry has been gone a little over a month now. He seems to be doing pretty well. Although he is working long hours and he complains about the food some, he is in high spirits and he seems happy when we get to talk.

Today the girls were watching the video Larry made Victoria when he left on deployment last time and it made me think about how quickly time goes by. Victoria was 1 when Larry was gone last time, much like Temperance this time around. He is missing an important time in Temperance's life. So to try to keep him in her mind we watch him reading books and we pray for him and we call his voice mail and we talk to his pictures in the hallway. If you ask Temperance where her Daddy is she will tell you "Dada, bye-bye". While it is sad and maybe it is unfair to our children, I wouldn't have Larry any other way. He is a Marine... no, he is MY Marine. He was a jar head when I met him & fell in love with him and he will always be one. It sucks that he is gone, but it makes me appreciate the time he is home so much more. He is a wonderful father and a fantastic husband. I am truly blessed to be married to him.

Our girls both act like Larry in different ways which can be aggrevating and hilarious at the same time. They are wonderful, beautiful little girls who love their Daddy and are patiently waiting for his return home.

I'll admit we need to work on Temperance's ability to smile on que. :) LOL. It's the same look I used to give in my photos. :)

God has blessed our family and I am ever thankful!!!!
