Larry Leaving

Well I am a little late with this post, but Larry left us 2 weeks ago yesterday. We were super sad to see him leave as always. It is never easy to say goodbye to our Daddy. We love him and we pray for his safety as well as the safety of all those with him.

Temperance has been taking it really hard this time around. She asks me every single day if her Daddy is coming back home yet and if we are going to pick him. It breaks my heart to have to tell her that he is not coming back yet.

Larry bought the girls "Daddy Bears" and they love them so much. They sleep with the bears every single night and it is adorable.

I have attached pictures from the sad day of Larry leaving and of the new bears. :)

These are just a few of the photos from a trip we took to see the Queen's Palace while Larry's Dad was in town. I will try to get more on here soon. The actual palace was closed but it was still fun to walk around the grounds!

This tree was huge!

Of course Victoria is posing as always!
We had a really fun time. I will get more photos up soon!

Victoria getting her ear pierced

We took Victoria to get her ears pierced on January 8, 2011. She has been asking for about a year now. We finally took her to get it done. Here is the photo procession of her experience. Here are her ears without piercings.

Sitting up in the chair like a big girl. She was a little nervous but ready to go!

Juts a little nervous!

Her ears are getting cleaned.

Now they are being marked with a marker.

She is checking out the markings.

This is the gun and the earrings she picked out.

Here we go! Victoria chose to have both ears done at the same time.

Ouch! They are going in!

They are in! Now to remove the guns.

And we have pierced ears!

Yup, it hurt a little bit.

All smiles with our new Hello Kitty earrings!

And here they are!!! The earrings are Hello Kitty heads and she has to leave them in for two whole months! But after that we will get her all kinds of awesome cute earrings.
For now she is learning how to take care of her new pierced ears and how to clean them and how important cleaning her earrings is. I know she will do fantastic. She didn't even cry when it got done and by that night she said they didn't even hurt anymore. Victoria was a big girl and we are so very proud of her!!!

This is a short video of her smiling. :)

Desitin Mess

Temperance had the opportunity to empty an entire tube of Desitin all over her front legs, back, bottom, hair, and hands the other morning. It was then all over the floor, toilet, and sink! It was hard to be angry and I was laughing and just amazed that she got such good coverage!!!
We had to take Victoria to the doctor's office for itchy eyes. She now has to take Claritin for allergies. Hopefully she will not have to do that anymore after we leave Hawaii, but for now, she is taking it every morning.

This is Temperance waiting at the pharmacy. She doesn't like waiting.

This video is of Victoria acting silly while waiting at the pharmacy.

Dining Out

We attended a Dining Out at Turtle Bay Resort, HI on Dec 11, 2010. It was a blast. Larry and I attended the dinner and Temperance hung out with the rest of the kids in a big play room. Victoria did not attend as she stayed the night with her BFF (Ceara). We had a really great time. Here are some photo highlights from the night!

Our view was spectacular and Temperance really enjoyed the balcony off our room.

She looked so pretty in her little red dress.

Time for a quick photo op!
While she can be a pistol at times, Temperance really is a true sweetheart.

Family photo op!

We truly had a great time at Turtle Bay and the Dining Out.
